the way it outta be.
this awesome client came to me via Yelp! – pretty sweet. she arrived with the name already intact; it’s a memorial piece for a close friend who passed and she wanted to build on it with the poem. i threw the rosary in and we both love how it turned out. she told me stared at it for 2 days straight. lol.
this awesome client came to me as referral from another longtime awesome client of mine. apparently they play cards together and she noticed the (and liked) the work he has going on in his arm. this lady absolutely kicks TOO MUCH ASS – she’s in her late 70s and has finally gotten her first tattoo. as you can see she came with a pisces + cross piece already in place (her first tattoo) but felt like it was missing something. after a few minutes of picking her brain and talking, i proceeded to do some freehand drawing and came up with the seaweed. she loved it, so we inked it in.
i added in the background glow to the cross as well. i gotta say, i love the way it turned out + the getting to know this client.
i’m sure even in a hundred years that jingle’ll still be in my head. those ad makers did a helluva job with that tune. he’s a pretty handsome bald guy as well. 😉
as you know this month of march has been dedicated to some Serious Spring Cleaning:
it’s a great feeling when someone walks in with an old/busted/bad tattoo, aren’t too sure what can even be done, and then gets blown away when they see their re-worked piece for the first time…
it’s freakin’ amazing.
