one of my favorite pieces to date. had a lot of fun doing this piece on one of my favorite clients — we get a lot of laughing done in between the needles & pain!
lol.
we are finished with this lucky piece!
this is an extremely fitting post for today (Friday the 13th) since koi are known for meaning good luck, good tidings, and good health. it’s a very lucky symbol to wear on yourself/have tattooed.
this piece happens to be on a long-time client of mine that is recently engaged, CONGRATULATIONS & BEST of LUCK to ya mate!!!
alright, it’s time to make a big announcement…
after several successful years in AZ, i’ve decided to move my art over to CA. we’ve had some great times together, Arizona… but it’s time for me to keep it moving. i don’t want anyone left out, so if there are any pieces still floating around AZ that haven’t been completed yet, contact me now. we have about 3.5 months to get ‘er done before i’m up and outta here.
and for all those people who’ve been waiting to get something by me, here’s your chance! mention this Bon Voyage Sale and make it easier than ever to get a lasting work of art.
paying homage to Grams:
[Family is a gift of god,
With this song I’d like to pay harness
To one of it’s members
Over the years her importance has been diminished
Her image tarnished, but to me she’ll always be a rare jewel
I’ve heard her called by many loving nicknames
Nana, Mimi, Mamaw, Big Mama, Poppi
But unlike millions of others, I simply call her Grandma]
-Gladys Knight
we did some fixing to this piece to begin with.
now we’re doing some [freehand] addition to it.
color my world.
